Edmonton Youth for Climate

Endorsement:

Edmonton Youth for Climate endorses the CAUA's Climate Action Plan. The details described in the plan clearly expresses how the climate crisis is a threat to our city, province, nation and world and explains the unique role that universities play in responding to this threat. Many current and late members of EYFC attend or have graduated from UAlberta. We believe this action plan can be used to develop methods that help eliminate hypocrisy we see from upper university leadership regarding the school's involvement in energy and climate issues. It can also be used to understand the urgent need to create greater opportunities for intersectional climate curricula and action on campus and in our communities.
