I endorse the CAUA's Climate Action Plan because it is comprehensive, justice-oriented, and evidence-based. This plan moves the University of Alberta forward and would make this institution a true leader in sustainability and the fight against climate change. It will benefit the students, staff, faculty, and community partners of the University of Alberta while ensuring we do our part to address the climate crisis at a time when the IPCC says we have a "brief and rapidly closing window of opportunity to secure a liveable and sustainable future for all."

Detailed Bio: I am a Canada Graduate Scholar Master's student working towards my MSc in Epidemiology in the School of Public Health's Climate Change and Global Health Research Group at the University of Alberta. My research focuses on the impacts of climate change on mental health. I previously received a BSc in Psychology from the University of Alberta and a Certificate in Research. I am also an organizing member with Climate Justice Edmonton.
