Endorsement:

It is evident that the CAUA Climate Action Plan is built upon solid research and as such should not be taken lightly. Universities are dedicated to equipping students for a promising future. However, with the climate crisis intensifying and disasters of unprecedented scale becoming the norm, what kind of future awaits our students? As we confront severe environmental degradation and significant biodiversity losses, educational institutions must prioritize preparing their students and staff for increasingly challenging times. Climate action is not merely a desirable pursuit; it is an essential imperative to ensure a safer future for everyone. As such, I strongly endorse the CAUA Climate Action Plan.
