March Banner Drop for Divestment

On March 22nd 2024, the CAUA’s divestment group gathered to drop a banner in the Central Academic Building (CAB) demanding that the University divest from the Royal Bank of Canada. They also gathered at 8AM in front of the Council Chambers to protest the Board of Governors’ vote to renew investment in the bank.

The Divestment Working Group is looking to organize similar demonstrations and organizing efforts in the 2024-2025 academic year. Join us in demanding better from our institutions.
